Quiz Competition, August 2012
As part of SKVT Alumni Association's educational initiatives, Quiz competition was conducted in SKVT School on August 13th and 14th as part of 65th independence day celebrations. The quiz master of SKVT School and a well known teacher among active students and alumni, Mr. Arun Mehar, conducted this event successfully.
The event was divided into two categories, Seniors (9th and 10th classes) and Juniors (6th, 7th and 8th classes) and many teams participated in this Quiz competition. Three winners from each category were selected and prizes were distributed on the happy occasion of 65th Independence day celebrations. Here is the list of winners
SKVT Alumni Association hopes extra curricular educational events like these will help students improve their team building, communication and general knowledge skills and also improve the standards of SKVT School. SKVTAA is very thankful to Mr. Arun Mehar for conducting this annual quiz competition with great enthusiasm and in a well organized manner.
The winners of the quiz competition represented SKVT School at a town level contest conducted by Rotary Club of Rajahmundry and secured FIRST PLACE. SKVT Alumni Association congratulated the winners and distributed prizes to them. SKVTAA also congratulated Arun Mehar who is the mastermind behind their success. His novelty and experience in quizzing, inspired and motivated SKVT School students and helped them to excel in competitions like these. This is just a start and we hope SKVT School students will reach new heights soon. SKVT Alumni Association will encourage students to participate in district, state and national level competitions.
