Some of the projects that SKVT Alumni Trust will undertake in its quest to promote quality education are as listed below. Every organization needs generous people like you to carry out its agenda and we are no exception. We are counting on every penny, nickel, dime and paise to help our organization reach its goal. Educational Initiatives

Project Education's mission is to encourage children to participate in extracurricular activities to fine tune their creative, presentation and communication skills. We, as a team, would like to promote quality education by organizing educational activities that will help the overall growth of a student. The estimated amount needed for the organization to carry out these activities is as mentioned below.

Infrastructure development

SKVT School was established in 1974 and the ageing infrastructure can be seen in our gallery. Some of the buildings need some structural and facial makeovers while furniture needs to be repaired as well. On top of this, in order to succeed in our mission of promoting quality education, we need to promote modern technology and make it available for the school students.  Some of the high priority activities with respective annual targets that are in our pipeline are as mentioned below. Any financial help towards these activities will help SKVT Alumni Trust reach its final goal.

Financial Aid (Educate a child - Scholarship Program)

It’s heart breaking to see how many young kids are deprived of education because of their economical background. SKVT Alumni Trust is striving hard to extend its financial help to backward students who are willing to come to school and stand up tall. We introduced "Educate a Child - Scholarship program" in to streamline our assistance to students with financial hardships.

Here are some of the ways you can help us in reaching our goal. Every drop counts and you will be amazed to know what a rupee can do.

Community Programs

SKVT Alumni Trust is planning to undertake some community development programs like charity drives, blood donation drives, "stop child labor" public rallies etc. The mission of these community programs is to bring awareness on some of the public issues, especially to replace "bricks and tea cups" in the hands of child labor with "books and pen" and promote the value of education to the under privileged. These are some of the community programs SKVTAT will proudly organize every year.

Sports

Physical activities help a child develop physically active lifestyle that will be carried into adulthood, decreasing the risk of health problems related to inactivity. Sports also work as stress busters and boost the competence levels in students. SKVT Alumni Trust will conduct and organize various sporting events to promote physical activities as well as the spirit of sportsmanship among students.
